The Wirtschaftsförderung Region Meissen (WRM) GmbH corporation (Economic Development Corporation of the Meissen Region) is the partner for all companies already active in Meissen County or those wishing to start their business operations here. Our key task is to support you in safeguarding and expanding your company and to assist your business relocation plans. At the same time, we’d like to promote a business and innovation friendly environment and strengthen regional pride. It is also just as important for us to represent the county externally and to promote it and the companies located in the county.

The comprehensive support which is provided to local companies and new investors helps safeguard existing jobs, creates new job opportunities, and increases the regional value creation; thus, making a valuable contribution towards raising the region’s overall prosperity.

In order to reach this objective, Meissen County, the Sparkasse Meissen savings bank, and the municipalities of the county have joined forces as the shareholders of the WRM GmbH corporation to support its activities for the benefit of the region. The WRM GmbH team has comprehensive competences and experiences and can, thus, offer a business-relevant program of services.
